We take it in turns to blow it out.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EOh, we have so many Christmas stories, that I really must share them at some point.\u0026nbsp; Stories that warm the heart, talk of a certain Saint Nicholas (anyone remember him in all the rush?) and some that have me so misty eyed I find them hard to finish.\u0026nbsp; We sit on the couch, huddled, necks craning to see pictures and we read.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EIt is nice to be spending the time together.\u0026nbsp; As we hear of family members battling with illnesses and odds, the lists of perfectly co-ordinated decorations fall away, and we remember it really is a privilege to spend these moments together.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-4538-j70JaM\/VH1rnr2EqrI\/AAAAAAAACM0\/tchINy_6q24\/s1600\/advent.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; The pretty little snowflake decorations turned out to be just the thing to entertain a seven year old when confined to the house.\u0026nbsp; They are made with Hama beads (similar to Perler), laid out on a grid and then gently ironed.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"\u003ETogether, we searched for patterns and began to sort out our bucket of beads. \u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"\u003ESlowly we worked out how to make the decorations a little more robust.\u0026nbsp; Spindly, thin details don't hold up very well so look for snowflakes with wider points, or fill in the background with another colour, like the red one above.\u003C\/div\u003E\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both;
