The tidying dervish occasionally visits our house.  This frenzy can take many forms depending on who the victim is.  When E tidies her room she starts by ordering her favorite items.  Sometimes, in nice neat rows.  Sometimes the tidying energy has passed before anything else istouched.  

After admiring the beautiful orderly lines, and taking a photo, I saw that she hadn't touched anything else in her room.  The desk was piled high with drawings and toys, and the half the bookcase was sitting on the end of her bed.  Needless to say the admiration, was dwindling.

Then I saw this on her bedside table:
